What happens to my box if I pass away?

Short Answer
  • A nominated executor can access the box.
  • Executor must provide necessary legal documents.
  • Options include removing contents or transferring them to a new box
Long Answer

In the event of a client’s death, IBV International Vaults allows a nominated executor to
access the safe deposit box. The executor must present the following documents: the death
certificate of the primary keyholder, their own identification, and an Executor Certificate
issued by the court. Once verified, the executor can choose to either remove the contents or
apply for a new safe deposit box to store the valuables. This process ensures that the client’s
assets are handled according to their wishes and legal requirements.
